Mission Briefing for Phase Three - The Escape

Note form the Authors:- This mission has taken many hours to create. It has been created to give you a reasonably hard mission to complete. Don't use cheats, " Good Players don't cheat, Bad players do cheat, in an even battle,  The Good will always win over the Bad"  

This mission contains custom ODF's. If when installing the Zip file into any your PC asks to replace any files that start with ' trs'  just say ' Yes to All '.

Commander,

In successfully destroying the CCA Base you have captured the new technology that we are desperatley after. However, you need to escape from the planet with this technology in order for use to be able to utilise it. The Recycler at Nav 1 (Rendezvous Point) contains the information and you must escape from Achilles with it. In order to do this you must travel thorough the canyons of Grid refeference 4B7. Unfortunatley due to a Launchpad problem at the nearest despatch base we have been delayed in getting units to you. It is estimated that in approx. 45 minutes reinforcemnts will arrive on scene for immeadiate EVAC of you and your vehicles.

We suggest that you make you way through the ravines and head for the North West Corner as that is the where the NSDF are ordered to meet you. Do not stay in any one location on route to the Geyser in the North West for more than aprox 5 - 10 minutes as the CCA will be able to get units to you extremely quickly, keep moving from point to point. You should plan your route to arrive at the Geyser within 10 minutes of eta for the reinforcements.

We have equipped you with the prototype Grizzly that is fitted with Twin SP Stabbers and increased Armour. We have also fitted it with a unique collection device that will now allow CCA Supply Depots to rearm you. By draining high speed Photons from the supply depots as you pass them these are converted into Nano Ammo.

The Recycler you are escorting is also a prototype. It is better armoured with increased repair time, although the armour has made it heavier and therefore as a result slower. It has facilities of a Factory as well as some standard Recycler ones. We have managed to place ammo cans on the hill tops that have been designed for your tank and will reload it with one can. The Recycler can also make these new cans but be advised they cost 10 units of Bio Metal each.

We need you and the Recycler to get out alive. Destruction of the Recycler will result in failure of the mission.

MISSION ORDERS:- Defend the the Recycler for 45 minutes
